Safety Section

*Flambeaux (and his fire production team Ted-E, Michael Saab and Russell
Burns) are accustomed to fulfilling stipulations of fire marshalls of
whatever area or event we work at.

*He's used to meeting with Fire Cheif Inspectors, to working with or
providing fire marshalls for his shows and passing flame testing on premises
according to code. He has worked closely in NYC with Neil Criscuolo of the
FDNY.

*Flambeaux carries 2 million dollar liability insurance for fire
performance, and will add your event to the policy upon request. His stage amterials and costumes are Rosco Flammexed.

*He does not provide, however, fire extinguishers for his act - that must
belong to the venue for purposes of insurance, though he must have access to
cheeck them beforehand, as would any appropriatte fire authority. For a live fireshow, fire laws mostlt stipulate one CO2 extinguisher for
fuels, and one water hydrated extinguisher for personall.

*He will provide, if requested, unless state law requires a member of the
Fire Department, a fire-safety person from his Pyro team. For simple solo
shows, the venue providing an assigned safety person is often more
efficient. That person must wear non-flammable clothing. That person must
liase with Flambeaux plenty of time before the show for a number of
reasons..... once an assigned person extinguished Flambeaux at the climax of
his act, sure that he was on fire. Well he was. But he wanted to be........

*Flambeaux must always have last word on positioning/repositioning of the
crowd. Sometimes the wind does weird things. sometimes, there's a traffic
problem, should there be a panic. Please trust him. He just won't go on if
there's danger and that's rightly in the contract.

*Flambeaux will send you a complete descrpition of tools, of fuels, of
safety concerns and the ways at hand to control them. Similarly, he will
request info you should give as detailed as possible, about the venue and
the area around the performing area. Wind, for instance, is a big issue if
the stage is outside and is a good example of a subject that requires
attention before he gets theer without material he would have needed for
safety.......

*Flambeaux uses the safest and most non-volatile fuels that also have an
extremely controllable burn rate. For this he is often lambasted by other
fire performers but he sees no reason to use seriously explosive liquid
fuels. He also, in this form, produces barely any smoke in his acts and
therefore specializes and mono[polizes, more than most fire performers, the
art of indoor fire.

*As universally understood, white gas, though hardly used by Fxxx, is marked
red, lamp oil/kerosene blue and alcahol grey.

*His wicking is non-deteriorating kevlar wicking. He can store liquid fuels,
as prescribed by law, in solid fireboxes when requested for which a key
would be left with fire marshall or prescribed fire safety person.
